Youth Leadership Henry, a countywide leadership program for high school sophomores, is designed to develop leadership potential and to acquaint participants with community needs, problems and resources through interaction with local leaders and decision makers. This program was designed to parallel the adult Leadership Henry program with the intention of developing and cultivating future leaders.
The program allows participants to interact with community leaders in examining a variety of issues that affect Henry County. Participants gain insight into the complex decision making process that is essential in addressing community issues and also learn about the cultural and economic opportunities and resources available within this area.
